In Sicily, at the onset of autumn, when the days are getting shorter and cooler, the slight “end of summer depression” is progressively pushed away by the excitement for the upcoming olive harvest. And the anticipation of tasting, the new, super fresh olive oil.
This feeling gets more and more concrete as the days go by, as we prepare for the harvesting and milling of our olives. This excitement coped with the amazing feeling to enjoy fresh oil, is what has brought me to take over from my grandpa, pursue this project and keep going, despite the challenges.
It’s difficult to trigger that feeling fully if you have never experienced it, but trust me, consuming or gifting Olixir 2023 at its freshest will give you and your loved ones an unforgettable experience. And that is why we have done the impossible to bring it from our farm to your table as fast as possible.
